i failed you, my master....
the Half-Life adventure went down as planned yesterday...
and i failed...
i swear to you, this was not my fault... the game glitched... or experienced a bug, or something... point is, i was unable to complete a menial task that would have brought me that much closer to the end of the game... again, i'd like to thank STEAM for completely ruining my gaming experience... because of this wonderful program, i can no longer seem to UPDATE my game to the most current version, meaning i'm stuck with not only shitty graphics, but bugs and glitches that were taken care of with the very first of several updates...
it was so simple, like my brother-in-law phil.... and exactly like phil, it didn't fucking work...
turn the main coolant chamber pumps back on, and then flood the auxilliary coolant chamber... then, swim through the access pipe into the Main Reactor Core, and open the flow valves from coolant chambers one and two... this will, in turn, flood the reactor core chamber, bringing in coolant up to a level where you should be able to swim up through it, and reach the broken ladder which will eventually take you to the teleportation labs that you are not even authorized to know about...
how fucking had can that be, right???
never the less, i played for 5 hours and 38 minutes before reaching this point in the game... here's a list of the games levels, from begining to end:

you can see just how close i was... you can also gather what each level is like, based on the name, which i think i kinda kool...
anywho, after i gave up on this, my friends showed up, with a 12-pack in hand, and we proceeded to chill for awhile... i didn't get wasted or anything, just a pretty good buzz... spent the whole night talking to Angie :) and finished up by watching "Night of the Living Dead" on shotime.. that is actually a pretty good move.... just, like the zombies in it, very, very SLOOOOOOOOW....

I'd guess to say talkiing with Angie would be a better use of your time than 5 1/2 hours with a video game! Let's see...a woman...or, a video game? Yep, the woman wins.
